Yes, I know, it's been two months since I even attempted a post. Now, that the season is in full swing its time to update y'all on the happenings and goings to happen. December went off without a glitch and we had a pretty generous month of snow and early season conditions. The varied conditions allowed me to test all the new gear I've received from my sponsors Marmot, Smith Goggles and Helmets, and Blizzard/Tecnica and work out my layering. I couldn't be more stoked on my opportunity to work with these companies and their willingness to spread some stoke. I've had no epic adventures to report on as of yet do have some trips lined out for the second half of our season. I'll be off to Kirkwood, CA at the end of February for the North American Freeskiing Championships followed by the Freeskiing World Championships at Snowbird, UT in March. Last but not least is a end of season trip to Chamonix, France. Stoked!
My New Year's resolution is to publish more often which will keep you all up to date. Which is nice.

As the ski season gets closer there is finally a little buzz around town. The bit of snow that's found it's way to the ground has gotten folks into the local shops to scope out the latest gear, getting ski's mounted and tuned, and just generally talk skiing. With only 12 days until the lifts roll, now is the time to get things taken care of. I just recently spent 2 days at Loveland Ski Area for an on-snow demo, re-familiarizing myself with all the new ski's for 2010/2011. There are so many companies making quality products(Blizzard, Kastle, Salomon, Rossignol, K2) these days that it can often be hard to make a decision on what's best. So, if you're having trouble making a decision, come into Hamilton Sports in Aspen and we'll get you out on the best gear.
